Job Purpose

Job Responsibilities

1. Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system.
2. Call guests to confirm scheduled services. Answer questions about available services.
3. Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last-minute changes, and resolve scheduling issues as needed by working with supervisor/manager.
4. Check in guests for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival.
5. Stock and maintain retail sales items and promote the sale of retail items and additional spa services.
6. Maintain knowledge of spa services, amenities, and current trends within the spa industry.
7. Obtain assigned bank and account for contracted monies, obtain change required for expected business level, and always keep bank secure.
8. Process guest payments for spa/salon services and obtain payment authorization as needed.
9. Accept and log cash tips for employees.
10. Balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting.
11. Communicate housekeeping, engineering and maintenance needs to the relevant departments.
12. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
13. Helps ensure the Spa is only accessed by actual guests, and that it is always safe and secure.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High school diplomas preferred.

Experience

• 1-year of Spa and/or retail sales experience is required along with spa guest service experience, and cash handling/credit transactions, hotel experience preferred.
