Compensation: $63,000 to $66,000 per year

As the Convention Services Manager, you play a pivotal role in creating exceptional guest experiences by ensuring every group event is executed flawlessly from planning through completion. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients after the sale, coordinating with multiple hotel departments to deliver seamless meetings, conferences, social events, and group programs that exceed expectations.

You are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about building strong client relationships while managing complex event logistics with confidence and professionalism.

The Role

As the liaison between clients and hotel operations, you will oversee all event planning details, communicate client expectations across departments, and ensure every event is delivered with precision, efficiency, and exceptional service.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary contact for group and event clients after contracts are signed
  • Coordinate all event details, including meeting space, guest room blocks, catering, audiovisual requirements, and room setups
  • Prepare and distribute banquet event orders (BEOs) and other event documentation
  • Lead pre-convention and pre-event meetings to ensure seamless communication across departments
  • Collaborate with Sales, Catering, Food & Beverage, Operations, and other teams to execute successful events
  • Monitor event activities on-site and proactively address client requests or operational challenges
  • Manage event changes, billing accuracy, and post-event follow-up
  • Maintain detailed records, timelines, and client communications to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Build strong client relationships that encourage repeat business and positive referrals
