The Role
As the Chief Engineer, you lead the maintenance department and oversee all building systems, equipment, and property upkeep. You ensure safety, preventive maintenance, and repair standards are met while supervising a team of maintenance professionals.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering team
Oversee daily repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules
Ensure proper operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems
Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs
Manage department budgeting, inventory, and vendor relationships
Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and regulatory standards
Support maintenance team with troubleshooting and project work
Respond quickly to urgent issues and guest impact situations
Coordinate effectively with hotel leadership and all departments

Previous engineering or maintenance leadership experience required
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
