Reports To Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor Supervises N/A Job Purpose Under the direct supervision of the hotel’s Executive Housekeeper, take ownership in assuring that the public space areas of the hotel and existing flooring materials of the hotel are properly protected from soil, cleaned regularly and maintained to a high level of appearance. Job Responsibilities Under supervision, establish, evaluate and perform work on a cleaning and preventive maintenance program for all flooring surfaces of the hotel. Under supervision, keep abreast of all new cleaning procedures, cleaning products and technology that can be used in maintaining and enhancing the public space areas of the hotel. Under supervision, work to build a “team” approach among the various hotel departments to assist in the overall philosophy of keeping the public space clean and fresh in appearance. On your own, take initiative to be a hotel ambassador by always greeting hotel guests in a friendly and warm manner. On your own, stock cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift. On your own sweep, vacuum, wet mop, scrub, buff and properly maintain hotel floors using hand tools, brooms, brushes, mops vacuums and other powered equipment. On your own, abide by the regulations set forth by material safety data sheets of various cleaning products. On your own, observe and report the need for repairs to equipment, furniture and building components. With very little supervision, empty public space trash bins, clean lobby and banquet bathrooms, pick up all trash on table and floors. Keep public space cleaning utility closet rooms in a clean and well-organized fashion. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills Maintain focus on cleaning projects while coping with various other interruptions. Ability to understand instructions and learn procedures and techniques. Ability to perform routine work or the same task over and over again.

Reports To Assistant Front Office Manager/Front Office Manager Supervises N/A Job Purpose Position provides leadership and instruction to Guest Service Agents while working with Front Office Leadership to book rooms, maintain inventory, ensure rooms are blocked in a timely fashion to meet the needs and requests of individual and group guests, along with hotel departments. Provides service recovery, answer phones, assists with guest requests and provides front desk support due to business demand. Job Responsibilities Block and pre-register suites and rooms in the PMS according to guests requests five-days out. Assign VIP’s according to sales, events, and management needs. Keep front desk staff, including management, informed on any oversells, challenges, special accommodations unmet, etc. Over sold-out periods perform room protects to ensure that rooms blocked for future arrivals are protected (one/two-night holes) Check reservations listed on group resume and tour resumes to ensure reservation dates, billings, and room blocks are accurate in the PMS system. Attend Daily Business review meeting to be aware of business trends, new bookings and changes to current bookings. Verify Billing details for third party, group blocks, credit card authorizations, etc are accurate and complete. Promptly answer telephone answer front office phones with a positive and clear voice. Handle all requests and problems and when needed delegate special requests to appropriate persons or departments. Document any guest situations which require action by another department and follow up as needed. Maintain out of order & out of service rooms with engineering and housekeeping Other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills Strong technical skills in Word, Excel, Outlook along with good internet navigation skills. Excellent organizational skills, flexibility. Experience with hotel PMS systems and operational proficiency. Excellent interpersonal skills. Superior oral/written communication skills; ability to interact successfully with all levels. Excellent telephone etiquette. Knowledge of general office equipment (e.g., fax machine, copy machine, printers). Tact and good judgment and proven experience interacting with customers and hotel management.
Reports To Chief Engineer Supervises Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Utility Job Purpose To repair and maintain the physical structure of the property to the highest standards. Supervisor the associates in the Maintenance department to assist in achieving high guest satisfaction scores for the property. Job Responsibilities Maintain hotel, pool, and surrounding area, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC functions, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools. Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Respond to guest requests for service according to company policy. Keep records of rooms completed. Program phone equipment according to hotel needs. Observe equipment and utility meter readings on a daily basis. Stay accessible to Front Desk and Chief Engineer. Maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets. Ensure par stocking of regularly used parts and supplies. Learn emergency procedures. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills Understand and use specifications. Work to precise measurements. Use arithmetic to measure, compute amount of materials to use, and to inspect product to be sure it conforms to requirements. Lift and move materials and products. Climb and balance self. Work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
Reports To Banquet Manager or Assistant Banquet Manager Supervises N/A Job Purpose To set up banquet table linens, place settings and center pieces; serve all food and beverages and clear away all dishes and table linens in a professional manner and in compliance with company policies, and legal considerations. Job Responsibilities Sets up all banquet function table linens, china, silverware, glass ware, and center pieces, waiting and beverage stations, and perishable items for banquet service (such as bread, butter, and cream). Serves all food and beverages to banquet guests. Clears away all dishes and items used in the service of a banquet, including the linens. Ensures the proper storage of all items from equipment to perishable foods. Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Prepares for future banquets by folding napkins, filling condiments, and performing other duties as required. Relieves other employees allowing for breaks during the shift. Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills Use arithmetic to total costs and make change. Communicate with different kinds of people to find out what services they want and to give them information. Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods.
