Reports To Director of Food & Beverage Supervises Banquet Servers, Banquet Setup Job Purpose To plan the serving details for banquets, receptions, and other social functions. Job Responsibilities Requisitions additional help as required by banquet schedule. Directs setting up of tables, and decorations. Plans the serving order and orchestrates its completion in a timely, quiet and courteous manner. Supervises wait staff and set up staff. Trains all set up and wait staff. Ensures that waiters and waitresses are ready to serve meal when it is prepared. Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner and ensures all needs are met. Observes guests to fulfill any additional requests, to perceive when next course should begin, or when meal is completed. Aides in the operation of banquet department. Ensures proper banquet check control. Actively participates in room set up and service. Inventories all equipment. Displays awareness and compliance with security, safety, emergency and energy procedures. Relieves banquet manager and operates the department. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills Use judgment and reasoning to cope with emergencies such as sudden illness, accident, or interrupted service. Perform a variety of activities, changing activities frequently and sometimes without notice. Plan and carry out an activity, such as a card party or dance. Plan the work of others.
Reports To Accounting Manager Supervises N/A Job Purpose To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments and to balance all revenue departments on a daily basis, and complete all necessary reports. Job Responsibilities Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis. Verify the status of all wake-up call requests and ensure they are properly handled. Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift. Make deposits of cash. Prepare the front office for the ‘AM’ shift and reset day’s business. Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the night time hours. Act as PBX operator during the audit shift. Attend and actively participate in all front office meetings. Participate in all training and cross training programs. Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills Understand and use math concepts in order to design a financial or economic system. Work math problems quickly and accurately. Understand and use computers and related equipment. Speak and write clearly to report financial information

Reports To Director of Sales Supervises N/A Job Purpose Secure new volume accounts; grow positive relationships with assigned existing accounts; assure positive recognition within the local community for the hotel. Job Responsibilities Solicit, negotiate and generate contracted revenues from volume prospects that meet criteria established in the hotel business plan. Employ revenue management techniques to recommend corporate rate proposals. Accurately prepare and present Requests for Proposals so that both client and hotel receive a good value. Prospect for new contract business using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, attending community functions, internet prospecting, supplier partnerships, trade journals, etc. Develop, implement and constantly modify sales action plans. Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date contact management system. Negotiate and close contracts that meet the hotel’s business plan objectives. Desired arrival, departure and volume patterns must be met. Internally communicate client requirements, thereby insuring all information is accurate between client and hotel staff. Coordinate and participate in target market trade shows and sales blitzes. Conduct competitive analysis and maintain competitor files in order to be able to compete successfully. Maintain good rapport with local civic groups and companies. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and familiarity with brand specific property Management System(s). Ability to exercise excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management and listening skills. Ability to use analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the hotel.
